Suspended cabinets, wall shelves, mirrors, coat racks and TV brackets: we mount everything securely on the wall – with the right fixings for Berlin's hollow Altbau walls, concrete, brick and drywall. Fixed price, travel included.
The wall decides the fixing
Berlin flats contain five fundamentally different wall types: concrete (new builds, Plattenbau), solid brick, hollow brick and clay plaster (Altbau), plus drywall. A standard plug holds in only two of them. We test the wall before drilling, choose cavity anchors, injection anchors or heavy-duty fixings – and only then mount.
From a single shelf to heavy loads
An IKEA shelf takes 20 minutes. A 40 kg suspended cabinet or a BESTÅ on its suspension rail needs heavy-duty anchors and exact levelling. Both are everyday work for us – including scanning for pipes and cables before every hole.
