How much time is there between delivery and move-in?
Enough for assembly and acceptance before the keys change hands. Delivery should have arrived before the assembly appointment, not on the same day. Montage und Fix Berlin states the duration of assembly in the quote once brand and model are fixed.
What does Montage und Fix Berlin need on the day?
Access to the flat, for example via the caretaker or management, the furniture unopened in the flat and a contact person reachable by phone. The condition of walls and floors is in the protocol beforehand.
How do I avoid disputes over damage to walls and floors?
Record the condition before assembly starts with dated photographs and again afterwards. Montage und Fix Berlin does not carry business liability insurance. Please check before ordering whether your own building, contents or liability insurance covers the work. Montage und Fix Berlin's liability is governed by its terms (§ 8) and by law.
Is a framework agreement worth it for many flats?
For recurring orders, yes: Montage und Fix Berlin keeps the prices per piece fixed for twelve months and gives an additional 5% discount. Prices per piece are given as ranges, and only the written quote is binding. These ranges are per piece, net of 19% VAT, and depend on brand and model. The final price is fixed after Montage und Fix Berlin has seen the exact furniture pieces.
